I spend 30 hours a week, which is a lot more than I'd like, sitting at a desk. I spend two hours a month, which is a lot less than I'd like, at Healing Touch. It balances out. My back is happier. JF in H'burg.

I am very physically and mentally active leading to stress manifesting mostly in my shoulders. With bound shoulders, sore knees, nagging back pains and occasional headaches I was referred to Healing Touch by my chiropractor Dr. DaPonte of Chiropractic Solutions. I prefer and require deep tissue and have been disappointed by other local spas and was somewhat pessimistic when I first came to Healing touch a few months ago. Kim was my therapist and she was able to provide extremely effective deep tissue myofascial release of my shoulders like no other. I was hooked. Recently I had a severe migraine that was almost debilitating. I contacted Kim and she said she had a Migraine protocol that she could try. I went in and within an hour she had reduced a Level 10 migraine to a Level 2 which left me very grateful that she is in our community. I work at a computer all day and over the years, I have been diiagnosed as having cervical osteoarthritis. This causes pain, limilted mobility, and stiffness. My internist recently gave me a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and a prescription for deep tissue massages on my cervical (neck) area 2 times a week for 8 weeks. I had never had a massage before and a co-worker suggested that I call Kim at The Healing Touch. My co-worker said she had been to other massage therapists and Kim was the best massage therapist in town. I have been going to Kim now for approximately 6 weeks. The results have been amazing. I am so fortunate to have been introduced to Kim. Not only has Kim provided therapeutic treatments for my neck, she has shared her clinical expertise to give me preventative concepts and a customized stretching program to give me more flexibility. I first started coming to The Healing Touch to receive a full body massage to try to relieve some stress.
